About the Role
We are seeking a talented Medior Data Engineer to join our team in a hybrid working setup. As a Medior Data Engineer, you will play a crucial role in transforming real-world device data into actionable insights that enhance patient care. This Medior Data Engineer position offers the opportunity to work at the forefront of an innovative MedTech scale-up, contributing to the development of a next-generation robotic medical device.
What You'll Do
- Design and maintain production-grade ETL and ELT pipelines that support operational insights and long-term product performance.
- Develop Python-based data pipelines using modern libraries such as Polars, Pandas, PyArrow, or PySpark.
- Run data pipelines in containerized environments and integrate them with AWS orchestration services.
- Collaborate with a Senior Data Engineer to enhance performance and robustness of data systems.
- Investigate data issues, extend automated quality checks, and translate requirements into clean datasets and clear dashboards.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in data engineering.
- Strong proficiency in Python and familiarity with modern data tooling.
- Experience with AWS-native services, particularly S3.
- Hands-on experience with ETL or ELT pipelines in data lake or lakehouse environments.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a regulated environment.
Nice to Have
- Experience with containerization technologies like Docker.
- Knowledge of data governance and compliance standards.
- Familiarity with machine learning concepts.

Who Will Succeed Here
