Mechanical Fitter - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a Mechanical Fitter to join our team at Dennis Eagle. This remote Mechanical Fitter position offers a unique opportunity to work with a dedicated team focused on precision and quality in manufacturing. You will be responsible for assembling and installing mechanical systems and components, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards.

What You'll Do

• Assemble and install mechanical components to engineering specifications.
• Work with hydraulic and pneumatic systems to ensure functionality.
• Interpret and work from engineering drawings to execute tasks accurately.
• Maintain high standards of quality and safety at all times.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production targets efficiently.
• Promote good housekeeping and adhere to health and safety procedures.
• Utilize computer systems, including the Production Management System (PMS).
• Be flexible and willing to move between departments as needed.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Mechanical Fitter, Assembly Operative, or in a similar role.
• Experience working to takt time in a single-line production environment.
• Skilled in general hydraulic fitting and mechanical assembly.
• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
• Computer literate and confident using production systems.
• Flexible, self-motivated, and a team player.
• Willing to work in confined spaces and perform occasional heavy lifting.

Nice to Have

• Relevant fitting qualifications or training in hydraulics/pneumatics.
