Manager - Duck Creek Policy Configuration (Remote)
About the Role
We are seeking a Manager - Duck Creek Policy Configuration to join our team at EY. As a Manager, you will play a crucial role in designing, building, and configuring applications that meet business process and application requirements.
What You'll Do
- Design, build, and configure applications using Duck Creek's toolset to meet business needs.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a collaborative team environment.
- Communicate project status and updates to onsite leads and project managers effectively.
- Deliver high-quality product-based customizations while adhering to best practices and standards established by Duck Creek.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to address technical issues and risks in a collaborative manner.
- Utilize your expertise in Property & Casualty IT and Duck Creek tools to solve complex business problems.
- Handle code/data fixes for production policies and manage OOTB bugs/environmental issues.
- Contribute to the development of batch scripts for user admin updates and batch processing.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in Duck Creek's toolset including Express, Page Builder, Server, Author, Transact, Rating, Forms, User Admin, XSLT Transformation, XML, and SQL.
- Deep Duck Creek Manuscript Configuration experience with a strong understanding of policy processing and storage.
- Experience working directly with technical and business stakeholders to formulate technical requirements.
- Strong analytical, communication, organizational, and technology skills.
- Experience in Duck Creek v7.x and above is preferred.
- Familiarity with third-party integration data and handling CBOs is a plus.
- Proficiency in creating custom requests and insights is preferred.
- Experience in mentoring and guiding junior team members.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Design Studio and handling third-party integrations.
- Knowledge of batch processing and user admin updates.
- Experience in managing environmental and deployment issues.
