Linesperson - Electrical Network Maintenance (Remote)
About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Linesperson to join our team at UK Power Networks. This Linesperson remote position will focus on the maintenance and enhancement of our electrical network, specifically in the Crawley area. You will be a permanent employee, earning a competitive salary of £42,005 annually, plus a bonus of 3%. This role offers a unique opportunity to work within a dedicated team, ensuring the reliability and safety of our electrical distribution system.
What You'll Do
- Manage the delivery of network enhancement projects and restoration of electrical supplies.
- Carry out construction, maintenance, and reporting on overhead lines and associated equipment.
- Patrol overhead lines, report defects, and ensure safety compliance during live line work.
- Install, connect, disconnect, and maintain metering equipment on the low voltage network.
- Conduct risk assessments and ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your team.
Requirements
- Experience in overhead line construction and maintenance.
- LV & HV Authorised SPN/EPN network competency certificate.
- City & Guilds 2339 (formerly 232) certification.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational awareness and flexibility in task management.
Nice to Have
- Experience with risk assessment and safety protocols in electrical work.
- Knowledge of environmental impact controls related to electrical maintenance.
- Previous experience in a similar utility or energy sector role.

Who Will Succeed Here
