Lead Product Owner - Hybrid Opportunity in Portugal

About the Role

We are looking for a Lead Product Owner to work hybrid in Porto or Lisbon, who's eager to embark on an exciting new opportunity! As a Lead Product Owner, you'll lead and develop a team of Product Owners across multiple product domains, ensuring business value and operational impact.

What You'll Do

• Lead and develop a team of Product Owners across various product domains.
• Act as a product reference point, ensuring business value and operational impact.
• Collaborate closely with Product Management, Engineering, and Architecture teams.
• Co-design scalable, outcome-driven solutions aligned with business strategy.
• Support agile product development, promoting autonomy over rigid processes.
• Translate business strategy into clear, executable product direction.
• Manage stakeholders and ensure strong alignment across teams.

Requirements

• Academic background in Economics, Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Solid experience in financial or banking products (e.g., cards, credit, payments).
• Strong technical fluency and experience working in agile environments.
• Experience working closely with development teams, defining requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Proven leadership skills, with energy and resilience in dynamic contexts.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to prioritize and make data-driven decisions.
• Fluent level of Portuguese & English (mandatory).
• Availability to work in a hybrid environment – 2 times per week in the office in Porto or Lisbon.

Nice to Have

• Experience with product management tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello).
• Knowledge of UX/UI principles.
• Familiarity with data analytics and metrics.
