About the Role

We are seeking a Lead Machine Learning Engineer to join our dynamic team in the European Union. This Lead Machine Learning Engineer remote position offers a unique opportunity to lead the development and deployment of cutting-edge ML models while working closely with a talented team in a start-up environment.

What You'll Do

• Design, optimize, and deploy machine learning models at scale, focusing on both structured and unstructured datasets.
• Utilize your expertise in Python and frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, and scikit-learn to implement advanced ML solutions.
• Oversee the MLOps lifecycle using tools like MLflow, Kubeflow, and SageMaker to ensure efficient model deployment and monitoring.
• Develop multi-agent systems and work on conversational AI projects, including Speech-to-Text (STT) and Text-to-Speech (TTS) systems.
• Implement Responsible AI practices, ensuring model governance and ethical AI usage.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to shape the company’s long-term AI/ML strategy and architecture.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Participate in the development of scalable AI infrastructure on cloud platforms such as GCP and AWS.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in machine learning, with a strong focus on model design and deployment.
• Proficiency in Python and experience with ML frameworks like PyTorch, TensorFlow, and scikit-learn.
• Hands-on experience with MLOps tools such as MLflow, Kubeflow, and SageMaker.
• Knowledge of multi-agent systems and conversational AI technologies.
• Experience working with large-scale structured and unstructured data.
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms and scalable AI infrastructure.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced start-up environment.

Nice to Have
