About the Role

What You'll Do

  • Engage and strategize with senior-level executives at client companies to demonstrate how LinkedIn can drive revenue for their businesses.
  • Develop and cultivate deep relationships with senior executive clients at SVP, VP, and CMO levels.
  • Identify new buying groups and grow client investments through consultative selling.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across Insights, Marketing, and Media Operations to activate campaigns that meet client goals.
  • Provide insightful client research and industry-specific trends to enhance client engagement.
  • Pitch creative marketing solutions to advertising agencies and direct clients, showcasing LinkedIn's unique value proposition.
  • Forecast sales activity, manage proposals, and ensure timely follow-ups to close deals effectively.
  • Mentor and lead junior team members, fostering a culture of growth and collaboration.

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7+ years of experience in advertising, marketing, sales, or business development, with at least 3 years in media sales.
  • Strong understanding of internet advertising technology and marketing automation.
  • Proven ability to develop authentic relationships and outline strategic recommendations for Fortune 1000 companies.
  • Experience preparing sales proposals, forecasts, and account planning.
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve results by understanding customer needs and connecting them with business solutions.
  • Excellent communication and strategic thinking skills.
