About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Manager to join our team at Grand River Health, located in Rifle, Colorado. This full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to lead the Nutritional Services Department in a healthcare setting. What You'll Do

  • Oversee daily operations of the Nutritional Services Department, ensuring compliance with health regulations.

  • Handle ordering supplies, inventory control, and menu development to meet dietary needs.
  • Train and supervise staff, conducting monthly meetings to ensure high standards of service.
  • Collaborate with other departments and leadership to improve departmental processes.
  • Participate in leadership meetings and contribute to departmental improvements and projects.
  • Perform various additional tasks as assigned to support the overall mission of the organization.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred; secondary education in culinary arts is a plus.
  • Must obtain and maintain a Food Handler Certification from an ANSI accredited program within one month of hire.
  • A minimum of five years of relevant work experience, ideally in a similar role.
  • Experience in the healthcare industry is preferred.
  • Managerial experience is preferred, showcasing leadership skills in a kitchen environment.
