About the Role

We are seeking a talented Key Account Manager to join our team at Signify. This Key Account Manager remote position is pivotal in developing our specification business by establishing strong relationships with architects, lighting designers, and consultants. You will play a crucial role in promoting Signify’s innovative lighting solutions and ensuring they are included in project specifications.

What You'll Do

• Promote Signify’s full professional lighting portfolio, including connected systems and sustainability innovations, through presentations and workshops.
• Engage with architects and consultants to influence the inclusion of Signify products in project specifications.
• Create demand and future sales opportunities by securing specifications and influencing project designs.
• Provide expert guidance on lighting applications and design principles.
• Collaborate with internal teams to propose compliant and aesthetic lighting solutions.
• Work with Sales Managers to convert specifications into orders and align marketing activities with business objectives.
• Educate the market on lighting trends and sustainability topics through events and training programs.
• Track project activities in CRM systems to maintain transparency and pipeline visibility.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Interior Design, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in lighting specification or architectural lighting design.
• Strong relationships with specifiers and knowledge of lighting technologies.
• Professional certifications in lighting application design or sustainability are a plus.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Achievement-focused with a drive for sales success.
• Strong team player.
