Operations Manager - Production and Logistics

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee production and logistics processes in our company. As an Operations Manager, you will ensure smooth and efficient operations, managing both production and logistics closely. This role is critical for maintaining quality, cost efficiency, and productivity in our operations.

What You'll Do

• Take overall responsibility for operational control and development of production processes.
• Ensure a smooth production flow while adhering to quality, cost, and deadline requirements.
• Lead, motivate, and develop team members in the production area.
• Optimize processes using Lean Management methodologies.
• Plan and manage capacities and resource allocation effectively.
• Collaborate closely with quality assurance, technical teams, and procurement.
• Oversee and optimize internal and external logistics processes.
• Ensure timely material supply and delivery, managing inventory levels effectively.

Requirements

• Completed degree in Industrial Engineering, Production Technology, Logistics, or a comparable qualification.
• Several years of leadership experience in production and/or logistics, ideally in an industrial environment.
• Experience in process optimization and Lean methodologies.
• Structured, analytical, and solution-oriented working style.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• High level of responsibility and entrepreneurial thinking.

Nice to Have

• Experience with international supply chains.
• Familiarity with ERP systems.
• Fluency in English and German.
