Junior Analyst - Planning and Performance Management (Remote)

About the Role

We are seeking a Junior Analyst - Planning and Performance Management to join our team at Zurich Insurance Group. This Junior Analyst remote position offers an exciting opportunity to support key business objectives through financial analysis and reporting. You will play a vital role in local, regional, and global projects, contributing to the success of our organization.

What You'll Do

• Support monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial closings, including booking to cost centers and cost allocation.
• Prepare and provide regular expense reporting to management.
• Assist in actuals and forecast analysis to inform business decisions.
• Maintain master data in SAP, including cost centers, accounts, and statistical key figures.
• Respond to queries from business and cost-center managers, ensuring timely resolution.
• Execute and prepare control evidence for financial reporting.
• Assist and support departmental initiatives to improve performance.

Requirements

• Education in Finance, Accounting, or Economics is preferred.
• Fluent English skills, both spoken and written.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel knowledge.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Passion for finance and teamwork, with a desire to grow through development opportunities.
• Previous internship experience or studying abroad is a plus.

Nice to Have

• Experience with analytical tools and SAP.
• Familiarity with Lean and Continuous Improvement methodologies.
• Knowledge of IFRS and other GAAPs.
