IT Systems Administrator - Remote Support for Manufacturing
About the Role
Dogwood Industries is seeking a dedicated IT Systems Administrator remote to join our innovative team. In this role, you will support our core infrastructure and ERP system, ensuring seamless operations across our manufacturing facilities. What You'll Do
- Install, configure, and maintain workstation, server, and network hardware and software.
- Monitor system health, performance, and availability across servers and applications.
- Administer and support the company ERP system running on HTML-based applications and Microsoft SQL Server.
- Manage backup, recovery, and disaster recovery processes for servers and databases.
- Create and update technical documentation for systems, applications, and procedures.
- Provide on-call support for critical system issues outside regular business hours.
- Respond to and resolve IT support tickets and assist end users.
- Travel as required between facilities to ensure operational efficiency.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as an IT Technician or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of workstations, servers, and networking systems.
- Experience with PDM, SolidWorks software, and SQL Database structures.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Nice to Have
- Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Technical Certifications such as Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA) or CompTIA.
- Knowledge of NIST 800-171 and CMMC requirements.
- Familiarity with Azure and cloud environments.
