About the Role

We're hiring an IT Support Engineer to join our dynamic team at CIT. This IT Support Engineer remote position offers you the opportunity to work with a passionate team dedicated to empowering businesses through innovative technology solutions.

What You'll Do

  • Resolve customer service tickets and provide ongoing support across desktop, server, network infrastructure, and cloud computing environments.
  • Manage, update, and support customer infrastructure including firewalls, switches, access points, hypervisors, servers, and Microsoft Azure.
  • Prioritize and address high-impact tickets efficiently to ensure timely resolution.
  • Communicate regularly with customers and CIT employees to address and resolve issues effectively.
  • Maintain accurate records of support activities, including ticket updates and customer interactions.
  • Meet or exceed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to ticket resolution time and customer satisfaction.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training, obtaining necessary certifications such as CompTIA A+ and Network+ within the first year.
  • Work in a fully remote environment, with a schedule that includes evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of professional experience in computer networking, NOC, or helpdesk environments.
  • Advanced knowledge of managing network devices and configurations.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Active Directory.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Nice to Have

  • 2+ years of experience with a managed service provider (MSP).
  • Industry-recognized certifications such as CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, or CCNA.
