Internship - Estimator/​Quantity Surveyor (Remote)

About the Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic intern to join our team as an Estimator/Quantity Surveyor. This internship offers a unique opportunity to work remotely while gaining hands-on experience in the construction industry. You will collaborate with a dynamic team and contribute to various projects, enhancing your skills in estimating and quantity surveying.

What You'll Do

• Assist in measuring and pricing construction projects, focusing on architectural elements.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineering teams to ensure accurate project estimates.
• Engage with external stakeholders such as subcontractors and suppliers.
• Work on residential and functional building projects, both new and rehabilitative.
• Participate in training programs to develop your skills in project management, safety, and technical aspects of construction.

Requirements

• Pursuing a Bac +5 degree in a relevant field.
• Looking for a 12 to 24-month internship to gain practical experience.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Passion for the construction industry and a desire to learn.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Nice to Have

• Previous experience in construction or related fields.
• Familiarity with estimating software.
• Basic understanding of construction processes and terminology.
