Intern - Software Development Engineer - Remote

About the Role

GoDaddy is looking for Summer 2026 Software Development Engineer Interns to join us in building and improving GoDaddy products. As an intern with our team, you will make meaningful contributions to the company’s revenue, customer growth, and innovation. This is an exciting opportunity for a Software Development Engineer Intern to work remotely and gain hands-on experience in software development.

What You'll Do

• Build outstanding services that help our internal and external customers succeed.
• Write highly-scalable, highly-available, cloud-ready applications as a Software Development Engineer Intern.
• Solve end-to-end problems and test code (e.g. writing functional and unit tests).
• Adopt Agile methodologies to continuously release and deploy iterations of our services.
• Embrace DevOps methodologies for enabling and supporting always-on services.
• Collaborate with multiple teams to understand the needs of our customers.
• Establish critical metrics to monitor for product and customer success.
• Demonstrate a positive demeanor and flexibility to work in a dynamic environment.

Requirements

• Currently completing a BS/MS in computer science, information systems, UX, or a related field.
• Experience in one programming language such as Java, Python, HTML, JavaScript, C#, or Go Lang.
• Strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, software design, microservices, and cloud computing.
• Prior work experience with AWS is a plus.
• Experience in an Agile development environment is a plus.
• Excellent social, written, and verbal interpersonal skills.
• A strong sense of curiosity and a desire to improve your knowledge base.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with cloud platforms and services.
• Experience with version control systems like Git.
• Knowledge of continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices.
