About the Role

We are seeking an Information Risk Management Specialist to join our team in a remote capacity. As an Information Risk Management Specialist, you will provide essential expertise in security assurance to Allianz operating entities, ensuring that project goals are met effectively. This role is pivotal in supporting our clients and enhancing their information security management practices.

What You'll Do

  • Analyze customer needs and develop innovative concepts to meet their expectations.
  • Contribute to the day-to-day operations of assigned tasks until completion.
  • Complete project deliverables within agreed deadlines.
  • Work with clients during the security assurance process by advising during working sessions and validating documentation.
  • Prepare documentation and conduct progress reporting within the Allianz Services team and with clients.
  • Review junior team members’ work to ensure deliverables meet standards.
  • Engage in ongoing troubleshooting, problem resolution, and stakeholder management.
  • Advise clients on information security management according to Allianz policies and industry best practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience, with at least 1-2 years in IT Security roles such as IT service management or security monitoring.
  • Familiarity with information security standards like ISO 27001, COBIT, or NIST CSF.
  • A keen interest in emerging cybersecurity areas and a desire to develop new skill sets.
  • Ability to foster strong working relationships with clients.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in IT Governance, risk management, or information security work streams.
  • Knowledge of data privacy and business continuity controls.
  • Certifications such as CISM, CISA, CRISC, CISSP, or ISO 27001 Lead Auditor.
