About the Role
We are seeking an experienced HR Generalist (Ag Operations) to join our team at Church Brothers Farms. This HR Generalist role offers an exciting opportunity to support our agricultural operations while working remotely with seasonal relocation support. You will play a crucial role in employee relations, workplace investigations, and compliance, ensuring a safe and productive work environment.
What You'll Do
- Serve as the primary HR contact for field-based employee relations matters, addressing complaints, misconduct, and policy violations.
- Conduct thorough investigations by gathering statements, documenting timelines, and identifying risks.
- Maintain a strong onsite presence during peak seasons to foster proactive communication with field leadership.
- Coordinate onboarding for safety-sensitive leadership positions, ensuring compliance with HR policies and WVPP requirements.
- Prepare and issue employment status update letters and maintain accurate personnel records.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent HR experience.
- 3-5 years of progressive HR Generalist or Employee Relations experience, preferably in agriculture.
- Strong judgment and ability to assess risk, with experience managing sensitive workplace issues.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to relocate seasonally as required.
