Health Unit Manager - Interventional Cardiology (Remote)
About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Health Unit Manager for our Interventional Cardiology department. As a Health Unit Manager, you will oversee the management of the interventional cardiology unit, ensuring the highest standards of care and operational efficiency.
What You'll Do
- Lead and manage a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including nurses and administrative staff.
- Coordinate pre and post-interventional care for patients undergoing coronary angiography and angioplasty.
- Oversee the management of patients admitted for TAVI (Trans Aortic Valve Implantation) and MITRACLIP® procedures.
- Ensure effective communication and collaboration with intensive care units and other departments.
- Implement and monitor quality assurance and risk management initiatives within the unit.
- Facilitate professional development and training opportunities for staff to enhance their skills.
- Participate in continuous improvement projects and research initiatives to advance the quality of care.
- Manage patient flow and resource allocation to optimize unit operations.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse with a minimum of 5 years of experience in critical care, emergency, or intensive care settings.
- Experience in a managerial role within a healthcare environment is highly desirable.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Commitment to quality patient care and continuous improvement.
- Ability to adapt to changing situations and manage conflicts effectively.
- Fluency in French and English is preferred.
Nice to Have
- Master's degree in healthcare management or related field.
- Experience with interventional cardiology procedures.
