About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Health Unit Manager for our Interventional Cardiology department. This remote position offers the opportunity to lead a team in a highly regarded healthcare facility, known for its commitment to excellence in patient care and innovation. As a Health Unit Manager, you will oversee the management of the interventional cardiology unit, ensuring the highest standards of care and operational efficiency.

What You'll Do

  • Lead and manage a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including nurses and administrative staff.
  • Coordinate pre and post-interventional care for patients undergoing coronary angiography and angioplasty.
  • Oversee the management of patients admitted for TAVI (Trans Aortic Valve Implantation) and MITRACLIP® procedures.
  • Ensure effective communication and collaboration with intensive care units and other departments.
  • Implement and monitor quality assurance and risk management initiatives within the unit.
  • Facilitate professional development and training opportunities for staff to enhance their skills.
  • Participate in continuous improvement projects and research initiatives to advance the quality of care.
  • Manage patient flow and resource allocation to optimize unit operations.

Requirements

  • Registered Nurse with a minimum of 5 years of experience in critical care, emergency, or intensive care settings.
  • Experience in a managerial role within a healthcare environment is highly desirable.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Commitment to quality patient care and continuous improvement.
  • Ability to adapt to changing situations and manage conflicts effectively.
  • Fluency in French and English is preferred.

Nice to Have

  • Master's degree in healthcare management or related field.
  • Experience with interventional cardiology procedures.
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations and standards.
