About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Hand Finisher to join our team at TurbineAero. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you will perform hand finishing tasks with minimal supervision. As a Hand Finisher, you will be responsible for deburring and inspecting components, ensuring they meet the required specifications. What You'll Do

  • Perform hand finishing, deburring, and inspection of components using appropriate tooling.
  • Hand grind various airfoil shapes to their finish contour and dimension.
  • Chamfer, radius, and grind parts according to blueprints and work instructions.
  • Read and interpret basic diagrams and mechanical drawings.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly workstation while promoting good housekeeping practices.
  • Follow all company policies, including safety instructions.
  • Participate in cross-training in various disciplines within the hand finish area.
  • Complete other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
  • 2 years of experience in component repair.
  • 2 years of experience with inspection tooling and processes.
  • Familiarity with FAA part 145 Repair Stations and regulatory requirements is preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience with Lean and 5S principles is preferred.
