Duty Supervisor - Airport Operations (Remote)

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Duty Supervisor for Airport Operations to join our team at Etihad Airways. In this remote position, you will plan, direct, and supervise airport operations, ensuring that all financial, customer service, quality, safety, and security objectives are met. You will oversee team performance and service provider operations, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations and company standards.

What You'll Do

• Supervise all elements of airport operations while on duty, making day-to-day operational decisions to manage safety and security risks.
• Ensure adherence to local authority requirements, including documentation and reporting for arrivals and departures.
• Identify and report safety and security-related occurrences in accordance with company procedures.
• Oversee passenger and aircraft handling operations, ensuring compliance with arrival/departure checklists and regulatory requirements.
• Manage safety and security outcomes through hazard identification and compliance monitoring.
• Coordinate special guest requirements and liaise with various departments to manage operational disruptions effectively.
• Deliver and rehearse station emergency response plans and business continuity plans.
• Monitor customer service standards and report on performance against KPIs.

Requirements

• Degree level education or relevant industry experience with a strong background in frontline service delivery.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in service, hospitality, airline, or retail industries.
• Demonstrable knowledge of aviation and airport policies.
• Outstanding communication and supervisory skills.
• Ability to balance guest-centric focus with corporate interests while maintaining safety and security standards.
