Fullstack Software Engineer - Remote

About the Role

We're hiring a Fullstack Software Engineer to join MAP SSG, a dynamic and innovative firm that specializes in providing comprehensive competitive intelligence and research services. As a Fullstack Software Engineer, you will play a crucial role in building end-to-end product experiences, transforming product ideas into fast, elegant, and scalable software solutions. What You'll Do

• Build and ship product features end-to-end across the platform.
• Own functionality from backend services to frontend user experience.
• Architect scalable systems supporting data ingestion, transformation, orchestration, and AI workflows.
• Collaborate closely with product and design teams to translate user needs into impactful functionality.
• Work across the stack including APIs, databases, frontend components, and cloud deployments.
• Improve system performance, observability, and reliability.
• Contribute to developer experience by extending internal frameworks, CLI tools, and SDKs.
• Deploy frequently, test rigorously, and iterate quickly based on user feedback.

Requirements

• Strong backend experience with Python or Node.js.
• Frontend development using React and TypeScript.
• Solid understanding of web architecture, APIs, databases, and cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Experience building and operating production-grade systems.
• Product-oriented mindset with attention to usability and developer experience.
• Comfortable working in fast-paced startup environments with high ownership.

Nice to Have

• Experience with AI applications and workflows.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture.
