About the Role

We are seeking a talented Backend Software Engineer - Fandango Remote to join our dynamic team at Versant. As a leader in media and entertainment, Versant is dedicated to delivering exceptional experiences across various screens and services. In this role, you will be instrumental in building and maintaining the backend services that power our Fandango ticketing platform, contributing to the evolution of our systems with a focus on scalability, security, and performance.

What You'll Do

• Develop, enhance, test, deploy, and maintain backend software and services for the Fandango platform.
• Perform code reviews and collaborate with peers on innovative software solutions.
• Interact with Product Managers and Quality Engineers to ensure high-quality software delivery.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies to foster a collaborative development environment.
• Assist in troubleshooting exercises to resolve technical issues efficiently.

Requirements

• BS degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Strong understanding of software development practices and methodologies.
• Experience with programming languages such as JavaScript/Node, C#/.NET, or Java.
• Proficiency in working with relational databases.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git.

Nice to Have

• Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure).
• Knowledge of microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
