About the Role
Pennylane is seeking a dedicated Freelance Training Consultant to join our dynamic team in a remote capacity. In this role, you will help clients effectively utilize our financial management software, contributing to their success and enhancing overall client satisfaction. As a Freelance Training Consultant, you will work in a stimulating and autonomous environment, making a significant impact on our clients' financial management capabilities.
What You'll Do
- Conduct engaging training sessions and webinars for new clients to help them understand and utilize financial management tools effectively.
- Collaborate closely with the Account Manager to tailor training plans that meet the specific needs of each client.
- Gather feedback from clients to continuously improve training modules and ensure they are up-to-date with the latest features.
- Become a technical expert over time, providing insights and support to clients as they navigate our software.
- Engage with clients to ensure their success with the software, fostering a positive relationship and encouraging ongoing use.
- Participate in administrative tasks and product monitoring to maintain high standards of service.
- Maintain a flexible work schedule, requiring at least 3 days a week availability, and be open to travel within a defined geographical area.
- Contribute to the Pennylane community by sharing knowledge and best practices with fellow trainers and experts.
Requirements
- Significant experience in an accounting firm or similar environment.
- Strong relational and pedagogical skills to effectively communicate and engage with learners.
- Proficiency in digital tools such as Slack, Notion, and Google Workspace.
- Excellent presentation and videoconferencing skills to deliver impactful training sessions.
- Willingness to learn quickly and adapt to changes in training modules.
- Strong commitment to Pennylane's vision and community.
- Availability for at least 8 days per month for training sessions.
- Previous freelance experience is a plus.
