About the Role

We are looking for a Freelance Localization QA Tester (Danish) to join our dynamic team. As a Localization QA Tester, you will ensure that audiobooks are accurately localized into Danish, free from errors and inconsistencies, while collaborating with a global project team. What You'll Do

• Identify and correct language errors in audiobook content.
• Ensure adherence to client guidelines and standards.
• Log errors and provide constructive improvement suggestions.
• Maintain consistency in terminology and imagery across projects.
• Verify proper display of content in various formats.
• Write detailed reports on errors and perform necessary translations.
• Collaborate effectively within a diverse, multilingual team.
• Utilize strong Internet research skills to enhance localization quality.

Requirements

• Fluency in Danish and conversational English is necessary.
• Strong cultural understanding of the Danish language and its nuances.
• Proofreading experience is a plus but not mandatory.
• Computer literacy, especially with Excel and other relevant tools.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to communicate clearly.
• Ability to work collaboratively in teams.
• No prior experience required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key.

Nice to Have

• Experience in localization or quality assurance.
• Familiarity with audiobook production processes.
• Knowledge of additional languages.
