About the Role

We are seeking skilled English (UK) Transcribers to support an evaluation project by listening to audio recordings and editing previously transcribed text files. This Freelance English (UK) Transcriber role offers an excellent opportunity for English (UK) speakers who are looking to work remotely on a short-term freelance basis!

What You'll Do

• Listen to audio recordings and accurately transcribe them into written text.
• Edit previously transcribed text files to ensure accuracy and clarity.
• Follow complex instructions and style guidelines provided for the transcription.
• Manage your time effectively to meet deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Utilize proficient typing and computer navigation skills to complete tasks efficiently.

Requirements

• Excellent listening and writing skills in English (UK).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively.
• Prior experience in transcription is preferred but not mandatory.
• Idiomatic fluency in English (United Kingdom) is essential.
• Ability to follow complex instructions and style guidelines.
