Freelance Creative Manager for Social Media Content - Remote

About the Role

We are seeking a talented Freelance Creative Manager for Social Media Content to join our team remotely. In this role, you will be responsible for creating engaging short-form videos and social graphics, while also conducting thorough content and account research. As a Freelance Creative Manager for Social Media Content, you will help shape our content strategy and ensure that creative topics progress reliably.

What You'll Do

• Create short-form videos (Reels/Shorts) by reviewing raw material, selecting snippets, cutting, adding on-screen texts/subtitles, hooks, thumbnails/covers, and exporting in appropriate formats.
• Design social graphics, including carousels and story slides, using Canva.
• Conduct trend research by compiling relevant audio/format trends, hook ideas, and observations for IG/TikTok/Shorts on a weekly basis.
• Perform people/account research to identify suitable profiles/creators/industry accounts based on project briefs and document them neatly in a list.
• Engage in email outreach by sending initial emails using a template, making slight adjustments, and scheduling short follow-ups.
• Optionally maintain folder structure/assets, keep Notion/ClickUp boards up to date, and add small SOPs/checklists.

Requirements

• Experience in editing short-form clips (please provide examples).
• A good eye for aesthetics and readability, including text overlays, thumbnails, and caption timing.
• Ability to work independently and reliably while keeping deadlines in mind.
• Enjoyment of research and neat documentation of information.
• Familiarity with tools like CapCut/Premiere, Canva, Notion or ClickUp, Google Drive, and Loom (or the ability to learn quickly).
• Fluency in German; good English skills are a plus.
