Founder's Associate - Business Development Intern (Remote)

About the Role

We are looking for a Founder's Associate / Business Development Intern to join our innovative team at Oral Care Solutions. This is a unique opportunity to work remotely and gain hands-on experience in the healthtech sector, specifically focusing on chronic dry mouth (xerostomia). As a Founder's Associate, you will play a crucial role in supporting our founders across various strategic initiatives, making this a valuable experience for anyone looking to enter the MedTech field.

What You'll Do

• Act as a force multiplier for the founders, assisting in strategy development, market intelligence, fundraising, and operations.
• Analyze the xerostomia/oral care market across key segments to identify opportunities and threats.
• Map competitors and adjacent solutions to inform our market entry strategy.
• Support the development of our launch strategy for a novel oral gel designed to provide long-lasting relief for patients.
• Build and maintain a structured pipeline of clinics and distribution partners to facilitate product launch.
• Research pricing benchmarks and market access pathways to optimize our go-to-market strategy.
• Build and refine an investor longlist with a strong MedTech fit to attract potential funding.
• Contribute to the pitch deck and data room, assisting in due diligence and term sheet analysis.
• Potentially support ad-hoc projects in operations as needed.

Requirements

• High-performing student in Business/Management, Economics, Health Economics, Life Sciences, Medicine, Pharmacy, or a related field.
• Strong analytical skills and structured thinking are essential for this role.
• Very good PowerPoint and Excel skills are required to create presentations and analyze data.
• Curiosity and confidence in using AI tools to enhance productivity and insights.
• Fluency in English is a must; proficiency in German is a strong plus.
• Ideally, you should have some experience in strategy consulting or a startup environment.
• A proactive, hands-on mindset with ownership and flexibility is crucial for success.
• A genuine interest in health, science, or MedTech will help you thrive in this role.
