Firmware R&D Operating Manager - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We're hiring a Firmware R&D Operating Manager to join our innovative team at Keysight Technologies. This remote position offers you the chance to lead firmware development for cutting-edge test systems, collaborating with a talented group of engineers.

What You'll Do

• Manage the software product lifecycle from concept to release, ensuring successful project execution.
• Align with product planning, hardware development, marketing, and order fulfillment teams to drive new product introductions.
• Lead a team of firmware engineers, supporting them in achieving their business and development goals.
• Identify and leverage potential across products and platforms to enhance efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with internal and regulatory requirements throughout the development process.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience leading software projects, preferably in firmware development.
• 5+ years of experience in commercial software engineering, ideally with a focus on firmware.
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, particularly Agile.
• Proficient understanding of physics, especially in digital or optical communication systems.
• Pro-active and strategic mindset, with accountability for self and team.
• Excellent communication skills, fluent in English.

Nice to Have

• Practical experience in firmware development.
• German language skills.
