Finance Director - International Carbohydrate Solutions
About the Role
We are seeking a Finance Director for International Carbohydrate Solutions to lead our financial strategies and operations in a hybrid work environment. This Finance Director remote position will be pivotal in overseeing the financial leadership of our International Corn Milling business across EMEA and APAC regions, including countries such as Bulgaria, Turkey, Morocco, France, China, Hungary, and Russia.
What You'll Do
- Report directly to the BU CFO while maintaining a dotted line to the EMEA BU Leader.
- Lead, coach, and develop finance teams to foster a high-performance culture.
- Enhance monthly reporting, performance tracking, forecasting, and budgeting processes to support growth initiatives.
- Partner with management and cross-functional teams to evaluate asset and portfolio economics, maximizing value and managing risks effectively.
- Support BU leaders on M&A, partnerships, and capital expenditures; evaluate major growth investments.
- Deliver forward-looking insights, variance analysis, and trend forecasts using industry benchmarks.
- Leverage data analytics and financial tools to produce timely, decision-ready reports and dashboards.
- Collaborate with Controllers, FP&A, and GBS to ensure strong internal controls and compliance with financial regulations.
- Lead annual and five-year strategic planning, including operating plans, capital allocation, and financial projections.
- Translate strategy into actionable financial plans, linking financial metrics with KPIs and performance indicators.
- Serve on EMEA BU Joint Venture Boards, providing financial oversight and strategic guidance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration; MBA, CFA, ACCA, or CIMA preferred.
- 8–12 years of senior finance experience in FP&A, controlling, or corporate finance within multinational environments.
- Strong expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis.
- Advanced knowledge of financial reporting, performance management, and KPI design/monitoring.
- Solid understanding of corporate finance, including NPV, IRR, cash flow modeling, and value-based management.
- Proven experience in capital investment analysis, capital allocation, and business case development.
- Hands-on experience with data analytics, financial systems, and business intelligence tools.
- Strong proficiency in advanced Excel and PowerPoint for executive reporting.
- Experience supporting strategic planning, long-range financial planning, and scenario modeling.
- Exposure to cost analysis, margin optimization, and operational finance in manufacturing or supply chain environments.
- Working knowledge of M&A, due diligence, financial valuation, and post-investment performance tracking is an advantage.
- Solid understanding of internal controls, compliance, and financial governance within complex, matrix organizations.
