Senior Research Engineer/​Scientist Coach - Remote

About the Role

We’re seeking exceptional talent for the role of Senior Research Engineer/Scientist Coach to join our innovative team at Mento. This fully remote position is designed for experienced professionals with a strong background in Technical Research or Research Engineering, particularly within leading technology or tech-adjacent companies. As a Senior Research Engineer/Scientist Coach, you will leverage your expertise to guide and mentor others, helping them navigate complex challenges and achieve their professional goals.

What You'll Do

• Provide 1:1 coaching to Mento members through virtual sessions using the Mento Platform and Tools.
• Participate in ongoing training sessions to improve your coaching abilities and skills.
• Communicate with members via your Mento email or chat in the Mento App between sessions.
• Act as an integral member of the Mento coaching community by sharing coaching tools and insights.
• Foster a supportive environment that empowers individuals to thrive in their careers.

Requirements

• 15+ years of experience leading technical research teams in the technology industry.
• Strong expertise in AI/ML, large-scale modeling, computer science, or mathematical sciences.
• Experience in coaching individuals; coaching certification is a plus but not required.
• A proven track record of publications, patents, or leadership in top research organizations.
• Ability to dedicate a minimum of 12+ hours per month to coaching for at least 24 months.
