General Accountant - Remote Position at Air Up

About the Role

We are looking for a General Accountant - Remote to join our dynamic finance team at Air Up. As a General Accountant, you will play a crucial role in managing our accounting processes and ensuring we have accurate data to make informed decisions.

What You'll Do

• Manage accounts receivable, including invoicing and collections.
• Conduct payroll processing and ensure compliance with local regulations.
• Maintain and reconcile the general ledger.
• Handle operational tax matters such as VAT reporting and analysis.
• Assist in monthly and annual financial closing processes.
• Collaborate closely with internal departments and external partners, including tax advisors.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in accounting, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Additional qualifications such as tax advisor or certified accountant are a plus.
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel.
• Experience with ERP systems and accounting software, preferably Microsoft Business Central.
• Fluent in German and proficient in English.
