Finance Director - APAC Region (Remote)

About the Role

We’re seeking a Finance Director - APAC Region to join our innovative team at Pure Storage. This remote finance director position offers you the chance to lead in a dynamic tech environment, shaping the future of data storage. You will be at the forefront of our finance operations, driving strategic initiatives that impact our growth across the APAC region.

What You'll Do

• Lead and influence deal structuring activities in partnership with sales teams, enhancing sales finance participation in complex deal reviews.
• Provide economic and financial analysis to support pricing strategies and investment decisions, ensuring alignment with market insights.
• Drive financial planning, forecasting, and reporting activities, including Expense-to-Bookings (E:B) reporting processes.
• Establish and improve metrics and reporting focusing on actionable insights for the APAC region.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Sales Operations, Revenue Accounting, and HR to deliver results.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in finance roles, preferably in high-tech environments.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across organizational boundaries.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with a knack for translating complex ideas into clear narratives.
• Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite or Anaplan is highly desirable.
• A degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics; an MBA is a plus.

Nice to Have

• Experience in creating reports and dashboards for financial analysis.
• Familiarity with data analytics tools and methodologies.
• Prior experience in a leadership role within finance.
