About the Role

Cribl is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead a remote-first team dedicated to stream integrations. As an Engineering Manager - Stream Integrations (Remote), you will play a crucial role in driving the success of our engineering initiatives while fostering a collaborative and innovative culture.

What You'll Do

• Lead a remote-first engineering team focused on high-quality software delivery.
• Provide mentorship and drive project execution to ensure timely delivery of solutions.
• Engage in design and requirements discussions to align team efforts with company goals.
• Participate in code reviews and provide technical support to team members.
• Foster a customer-centric culture by understanding client needs and addressing technical issues.
• Attract and nurture top engineering talent to build a high-performing team.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve company objectives and enhance product offerings.
• Balance immediate problem-solving with long-term strategic planning.
• Work closely with product management to execute the product roadmap effectively.
• Be available for stand-by or on-call duties as needed.

Requirements

• Proven experience leading distributed engineering teams in a remote environment.
• Strong expertise in scalable, distributed systems and data streaming technologies.
• Hands-on experience with SaaS software development.
• Ability to hire and mentor high-performing engineers in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience working in Agile methodologies and practices.
• Comfortable troubleshooting technical issues with customers to ensure satisfaction.
• Strong engineering practices and processes to maintain high standards.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 10+ years of industry experience with at least 2 years in a leadership role.

Nice to Have

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
• Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools.
• Knowledge of data privacy and security standards.
