This role is pivotal in ensuring that our organization, GiveDirectly, continues to empower individuals in low-income and historically marginalized communities through direct cash transfers. What You'll Do

• Strengthen and scale operations across country offices to enhance our impact.
• Build strong foundations for country offices, ensuring they are equipped for success.
• Partner closely with the COO and department leads to deliver results and manage diverse stakeholders.
• Drive financial management across country offices, ensuring compliance and risk mitigation.
• Lead new country launches and transitions, championing continuous improvement and technology adoption.
• Work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment, demonstrating proactive thinking and systems building.
• Utilize your excellent stakeholder management skills to foster collaboration and achieve organizational goals.

Requirements

• Proven track record of delivering results in high-performing contexts.
• Diverse work background across operations, finance, HR, IT, and compliance.
• Experience in Sub-Saharan Africa is highly desirable.
• Excitement about the values and mission of GiveDirectly.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
