Director of Marketing Data Science - Remote

About the Role

We are looking for a Director of Marketing Data Science to join our team at Flexible Finance, Inc. This remote position offers an exciting opportunity to lead a high-impact team focused on transforming the rent payment experience through data-driven insights. As the Director of Marketing Data Science, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our marketing strategies and driving growth initiatives.

What You'll Do

• Lead the vision, strategy, and execution of marketing analytics and data science at Flex.
• Oversee initiatives spanning marketing experimentation, incrementality testing, and predictive modeling.
• Own end-to-end marketing measurement across the customer lifecycle and performance marketing channels.
• Design and evolve attribution and incrementality frameworks to drive efficient budget allocation.
• Drive the evolution from descriptive analytics to predictive and prescriptive data science.
• Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing marketing data science team.
• Act as a strategic partner to Marketing, Growth, Product, and executive leadership.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in data science, analytics, or applied statistics, with a focus on marketing.
• Deep expertise in lifecycle analytics and performance marketing measurement.
• Strong foundation in data modeling, SQL, and analytics workflows.
• Proven experience leading and mentoring data science or analytics teams.
• Ability to translate data insights into clear business impact and executive-level recommendations.

Nice to Have

• Experience with machine learning models applied to marketing.
• Familiarity with experimentation platforms and modern data warehouses.
• Background in fintech or high-growth digital businesses.
