About the Role

We're hiring a Senior Software Engineer - AI & LLM Systems (Remote) to join our innovative team at Kraken. In this role, you will focus on building AI and LLM-powered systems that interact with real users and internal workflows in production. What You'll Do

• Design, develop, and deploy AI and LLM-powered systems in production environments.
• Drive systems from concept to production, taking ownership in ambiguous engineering environments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate backend systems with light frontend components.
• Utilize strong engineering fundamentals to solve complex problems in the crypto space.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our engineering practices and processes.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a software engineer, with a focus on AI and LLM systems.
• Proven experience in building and shipping AI/LLM-powered systems in production.
• Strong understanding of backend technologies and adjacent layers, including integrations and orchestration.
• Passion for crypto and blockchain technology.
• Ability to thrive in a fully remote work environment, collaborating with a global team.

• Experience with machine learning frameworks and tools.
