DevOps Engineer - Remote Automation Specialist
About the Role
We are seeking a talented DevOps Engineer to join our innovative team. As a DevOps Engineer remote, you will be at the forefront of technology automation solutions, addressing a variety of cross-departmental challenges. Your role will involve working with cutting-edge automation tools to enhance the efficiency, scalability, and reliability of our organization's infrastructure, systems, and processes.
What You'll Do
- Architect, build, and maintain the company’s internal automation systems and workflows.
- Serve as the subject matter expert for all scripting, automation, and deployment solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-departmental teams to understand business processes and technical requirements, implementing technology solutions to meet those needs.
- Lead or contribute to project delivery from idea generation through implementation.
- Monitor, maintain, and optimize the health, uptime, and performance of platform services.
- Continuously improve CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks to enhance delivery speed and reliability.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- 4+ years of experience with Windows and Linux-based operating systems.
- 3+ years of experience with PowerShell, Python, or another scripting/programming language (SQL and Groovy are a plus).
- 2+ years of experience working with code revision tools such as Git, Bitbucket, or GitHub.
- 2+ years of experience using code deployment tools (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions).
- Strong technical skills and understanding in Kubernetes (K8S/AKS/Helm), Docker, Windows Server, Microsoft Active Directory, SQL, and database management.
- Experience with Azure Cloud-based IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS (O365, Intune, SharePoint) and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using ARM templates, Terraform, or Bicep.
- Proficient in Agile principles and methodologies, with a strong understanding of CI/CD and DevOps pipeline concepts.

- Familiarity with infrastructure automation, container orchestration, and monitoring tools.
