Delivery Support Lead - Data Centre Operations

About the Role

Join JLL as a Delivery Support Lead in a remote capacity, where you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our data centre. This position is a 6-month contract covering maternity leave, and you will be responsible for planning, scheduling, and coordinating maintenance works in a highly reliable data centre environment.

What You'll Do

• Plan and schedule all preventative and corrective maintenance activities in the data centre.
• Liaise with vendors, contractors, and internal teams to coordinate maintenance activities effectively.
• Monitor and report on the status of maintenance tasks to relevant stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and operational policies during all maintenance works.
• Update the Computer Maintenance Management System (CMMS) with real-time data.
• Identify critical facility equipment and implement preventative measures to mitigate risks.
• Participate in disaster recovery planning and execution procedures.
• Continuously improve maintenance scheduling processes and benchmark against industry standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering, or relevant work experience.
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role within data centre or facilities management.
• Strong knowledge of data centre infrastructure, including HVAC, fire suppression systems, and electrical systems.
• Excellent organizational, project management, and planning skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in CMMS or similar software (Maximo/SNOW preferred).
• Understanding of health and safety regulations in the data centre environment.
• Ability to work on-call for emergency issues outside normal working hours.

Nice to Have

• Certification in data centre operations or facilities management.
• Experience in asset management and maintenance planning.
• Familiarity with industry benchmarking practices.
