About the Role

We are excited to announce an opening for a Data Science Editor - Remote at DataCamp! This role is crucial in shaping the future of data education by creating engaging and informative content that empowers learners worldwide. As a Data Science Editor, you will work closely with a talented team to produce high-quality tutorials and articles that resonate with our audience of over 17 million learners.

What You'll Do

• Deliver high-quality written and video-based tutorials on data science, AI, analytics, business intelligence, data engineering, and cloud computing.
• Write content briefs that guide freelance creators in producing valuable content for DataCamp’s community.
• Recruit and manage a network of freelance creators and experts from the data science and AI fields.
• Edit and ensure the timely publication of freelancers' work, maintaining high standards of quality.
• Combine SEO keyword analysis with your knowledge of the data and AI space to enhance the content we create.
• Maintain a robust editorial calendar, delivering 25 new articles and 4 new videos per month.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an editor or creator in the data and AI space.
• Strong understanding of data science, AI, cloud, or data engineering.
• Detailed knowledge of at least one programming language (Python, R, SQL) or Business Intelligence tool (Tableau, Power BI).
• Exceptional attention to detail; typos and incorrect grammar are unacceptable.
• Experience using AI tools for content creation and workflow automation.
• Knowledge of SEO best practices and how they evolve.

Nice to Have

• Strong data engineering and/or cloud expertise.
• Previous experience as a data scientist, developer, or technical expert.
• Demonstrable experience in delivering meaningful organic growth through editorial content.
