Data Engineering Developer - Remote Position

We are looking for a Data Engineering Developer to join our team remotely. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing data pipelines, ensuring that our business lines have access to reliable information. What You'll Do

• Design, develop, and maintain cloud-based data processing and storage solutions.
• Implement robust data pipelines (ETL/ELT) for ingesting, transforming, enriching, and distributing data from various sources.
• Collaborate with stakeholders including business teams, analysts, data scientists, and architects to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Participate in defining the cloud data strategy, including developing roadmaps and migration plans.
• Ensure data quality, consistency, security, and integrity through automated testing and continuous monitoring.
• Stay updated on cloud solutions, architecture, and AWS technologies.
• Implement observability and logging practices for data pipelines and infrastructures.
• Document solutions, data flows, and technical decisions for sustainability.

Requirements

• At least three (3) years of experience in data engineering, including designing data pipelines and large-scale data processing.
• Experience building and implementing AWS infrastructures.
• Proficiency with pipeline orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow, AWS Step Functions, DBT) and data processing languages (Python, SQL, Spark).
• Knowledge of best practices in data security and monitoring.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation) and DevOps practices (CI/CD, Git).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a project team.
• Bilingual in English and French (spoken and written).
