Customs Compliance Manager - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

Are you ready to take on a pivotal role as a Customs Compliance Manager remote? This is your chance to join Arla Foods, a global leader in the dairy industry, and contribute significantly to our customs compliance and reporting efforts. In this role, you will be part of the Arla Global Tax & Customs Compliance team, consisting of 18 specialists across 5 countries, reporting directly to the global Head of Tax/Customs Compliance.

What You'll Do

• Oversee all UK customs compliance and act as the primary contact for UK customs matters.
• Raise awareness of customs compliance across the UK business through training for logistics, supply chain, and commercial teams.
• Ensure standardized processes are documented and adhered to, including guides and documentation for imports.
• Provide training and support to ensure compliant and standardized import processes.
• Manage Northern Ireland UKIMS accreditation and maintain adequate documentation and controls.

Requirements

• Strong technical knowledge of customs compliance and practical experience managing customs in a complex stakeholder environment.
• Customs qualifications are highly valued.
• Excellent communication skills and a team player mentality.
• Proficiency in digital tools/systems; experience with SAP is a plus.
• Ability to prioritize and manage competing demands effectively.
