Cloud Infrastructure Solutions Expert - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a talented Cloud Infrastructure Solutions Expert to join our dynamic team at A1 Telekom Austria Group. In this remote position, you will play a crucial role in integrating our cloud infrastructure solutions with customer needs, optimizing processes, and ensuring seamless service delivery.

What You'll Do

• Evaluate market trends and build relationships with customers to generate revenue through cloud infrastructure solutions.
• Understand the needs of existing and new customers, developing scalable solutions aligned with their business objectives.
• Prepare technical specifications, proposals, and presentations in collaboration with the sales team.
• Participate in customer meetings as a technical expert in cloud infrastructure and technologies.
• Provide pre-sales support throughout the sales cycle, from identifying needs to post-sale follow-up.
• Monitor competition and market trends, applying innovations in cloud infrastructure.
• Develop technical documentation and tailored solutions for each project.
• Collaborate closely with sales, marketing, and technical teams to optimize processes and successfully activate services.

Requirements

• Higher education in computer science or a related technical field.
• Proven experience in designing, selling, or implementing cloud solutions.
• Understanding of virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V, KVM), storage technologies, backup tools, and operating systems (Windows and Linux).
• At least 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in telecommunications, cloud, or ICT sectors.
• Understanding of complex business processes and cloud architecture.
• Advanced knowledge of English.
• Broad knowledge of market trends and technologies shaping cloud solutions and services.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Self-initiative, responsibility, and team spirit.
• Valid driver's license (Category B).

Nice to Have

• Experience working with cloud solutions and hyperscaler services.
• Knowledge of vendors and technologies (VMware, Veeam, Dell, HPE, Microsoft, Linux).
• Relevant certifications (VCP, Veeam VMCE).
• Established network of contacts with partners, vendors, and distributors.
