About the Role

We are seeking a Clinical Chief Physician in Pathology to join our esteemed team at Hôpitaux Universitaires de Genève. This role offers a unique opportunity to work remotely while ensuring high-quality medical services in pathology. As a Clinical Chief Physician, you will lead a multidisciplinary team, guiding the development of internal physicians and enhancing academic activities.

What You'll Do

• Guarantee the quality of medical services within your area of expertise, ensuring reliable and timely diagnostic results.
• Oversee the clinical diagnostic activities of the pathology service, including tissue and cellular sample analysis.
• Collaborate with other units and sectors within the pathology service and with clinicians from other departments.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to internal physicians, fostering their professional development.
• Participate in research activities and contribute to the understanding of pathophysiological mechanisms.
• Ensure effective communication and interface with various medical professionals to enhance patient care.

Requirements

• Possess a federal medical degree or equivalent qualification recognized by the Federal Office of Public Health (MEBEKO).
• Experience in anatomical pathology diagnostics across various specialties, with a focus on digestive, pancreatic, hepatic pathology, or lympho-hematology.
• Demonstrated leadership qualities to guide and train internal physicians.
• Fluency in French (C1 level) is essential for effective communication.
• Ability to work in a fully digitized clinical environment.
