CIO Controls Manager - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a CIO Controls Manager to join our team in a remote capacity. As a CIO Controls Manager remote, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that IT controls are effectively designed and implemented across the Chief Information Office (CIO) at TSB Bank. This position is crucial for meeting legal, regulatory, and mandatory requirements.

What You'll Do

• Design, implement, and test IT SOx controls, ideally within a banking environment.
• Oversee the IT control framework and work with key stakeholders to ensure effective rollout and remediation of any gaps.
• Manage day-to-day interactions with external auditors and track/report associated data requests.
• Drive control remediation and provide clear risk insights to stakeholders.
• Coordinate CIO responses to external requests and ensure timely issue resolution with appropriate escalation.

Requirements

• Experience in designing and implementing IT SOx controls.
• Strong background in IT General Controls (ITGCs) and third-party assurance (SOC1 T2).
• Understanding of SOx requirements and IT control frameworks such as NIST, ISO, ITIL, and COBIT.
• Expertise across IT domains including Technology, Change, Data, Cyber, and Supplier management.
• Strong stakeholder influence skills with the ability to provide expert risk-based insights.

Nice to Have

• Certifications from ISACA (CISA, CISM, CRISC) or ISC2 (CISSP).
