About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Caregiver to join our team at The Village at Sherman Oaks. This is a unique opportunity to work in a supportive environment while providing essential care to our residents. As a Caregiver, you will respond to resident needs promptly and kindly, ensuring their comfort and well-being. This Caregiver role is fully remote, allowing you to make a significant impact from the comfort of your own home.

What You'll Do

• Assist residents in their daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility.
• Transport residents as necessary, helping them into and out of bed and wheelchairs.
• Listen to the amazing stories our residents have to share, fostering a warm and engaging atmosphere.
• Collaborate with a care team to provide the best care and environment possible for our residents.
• Participate in training sessions to enhance your caregiving skills and knowledge.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Any caregiving experience is great but not required; we will train the right candidates.
• Strong communication skills and a compassionate attitude towards residents.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to the needs of our residents.

Nice to Have

• Previous experience in caregiving or a related field.
• Certifications in CPR or First Aid.
• Experience working with elderly individuals or those with disabilities.
