About the Role

We are excited to offer a unique opportunity for a Biomedical Equipment SkillBridge Intern - Remote position at HC2022 MIM Software. This internship is designed specifically for active military personnel looking to gain valuable experience in the biomedical field. As a SkillBridge Intern, you will partner with customers to impact patient lives through excellent service and innovative medical technologies. This role allows you to gain real-world experience in biomedical equipment while working remotely.

What You'll Do

• Evaluate and repair customer biomedical equipment issues, ensuring high standards of service.
• Perform planned maintenance and safety inspections on medical devices.
• Maintain effective customer relations and communication, enhancing the customer experience.
• Document repair actions and maintain inventory of biomedical equipment.
• Enhance your technical knowledge of medical equipment standards and compliance.
• Work under supervision and assist experienced technicians in various tasks.
• Participate in Quality and Compliance training to ensure adherence to industry standards.
• Opportunity to evaluate suitability for future employment within the organization.

Requirements

• Active military personnel eligible for the SkillBridge program.
• Good customer relationship skills and a strong commitment to service excellence.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license are required.
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs unassisted.
• Complete planned training within deadlines and comply with GEHC Quality Manual and regulations.
• Experience with biomedical or electronic equipment is a plus.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to communicate technical issues simply and effectively.

Nice to Have

• Previous experience in a solution-based service process.
• Familiarity with medical equipment standards and regulations.
• Interest in pursuing a career in biomedical engineering or related fields.
