About the Role
We are looking for a dedicated Baseball Camp Operations Assistant for Summer 2026 to join IMG Academy, a leader in sports education. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth operation of our baseball camp, providing an enriching experience for our student-athletes. As a Baseball Camp Operations Assistant remote, you will play a key role in coordinating various aspects of the camp, from scheduling to equipment management.
What You'll Do
- Assist in the day-to-day organization of the baseball camp program.
- Coordinate court and field scheduling to optimize usage.
- Manage coach and staff scheduling to ensure adequate coverage.
- Oversee attendance procedures for all summer camps, including tracking and updating records.
- Coordinate and update skills challenge awards, tracking, and leaderboards.
- Begin planning for the Academy year, including scheduling and special events logistics.
- Work closely with the program manager and coaches on game scheduling and adjustments throughout the season.
- Manage equipment inventory and storage, including minor facility upgrades and maintenance.
- Ensure safety protocols are adhered to at all times.
- Perform other duties as assigned, including pre-practice and pre-game preparations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Sports Management, Business, or a related field.
- Experience in a collegiate sport-specific program is preferred.
- Ability to work effectively with a diverse group of student-athletes, parents, and staff.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
