Baggage Services Officer - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Baggage Services Officer to join our team at Bangkok Airways. This remote position offers an exciting opportunity to ensure that baggage services meet the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction. As a Baggage Services Officer, you will be responsible for resolving passenger baggage issues and ensuring efficient handling of all baggage-related tasks.

What You'll Do

• Perform baggage services efficiently in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Cooperate with other departments and airline partners to ensure smooth baggage handling.
• Ensure timely delivery of passenger baggage to the carousel based on priority.
• Assist passengers proactively at the arrival baggage carousel.
• Issue Property Irregularity Reports (PIR) and enter necessary information into the tracing system.
• Utilize the WorldTracer System to track missing baggage and keep passengers informed.
• Verify the correct baggage prior to delivery to passengers.
• Negotiate with unsatisfied passengers regarding delayed or damaged baggage.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in any field.
• Minimum TOEIC score of 550 or above.
• No prior experience required, making this an ideal entry-level position.
• Strong negotiation skills to handle demanding passengers.
• Ability to make decisions regarding passenger compensation for irregular baggage.
