AI Platform Engineer - Applied AI Remote

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced AI Platform Engineer to join our dynamic team in a fully remote capacity. As an AI Platform Engineer, you will play a crucial role in developing and optimizing our AI systems, focusing on applied AI solutions. This position offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and contribute to innovative projects that impact our clients and the industry.

What You'll Do

• Design and implement AI platforms that leverage advanced technologies, including machine learning, deep learning, and generative AI.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions into existing products and services.
• Conduct A/B testing and data analysis to evaluate the performance of AI models and improve their effectiveness.
• Utilize observability tooling to monitor and enhance the reliability of AI systems.
• Participate in product design and UX design processes to ensure user-friendly AI applications.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using tools like Kubernetes, Terraform, and Helm Charts.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members in AI development and engineering best practices.
• Stay updated with the latest trends in AI and contribute to the continuous improvement of our AI capabilities.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience as an AI Platform Engineer or in a similar role.
• Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python and Ruby on Rails.
• Experience with AI integration, backend engineering, and APIs.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, particularly AWS, and AI development frameworks.
• Knowledge of data science principles and quality engineering practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.

Nice to Have

• Experience with React and TypeScript for frontend development.
• Familiarity with observability tools and practices.
• Previous experience in product design or design engineering.
