About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Automotive Service Advisor to join our team remotely. As an Automotive Service Advisor, you will be the first point of contact for customers requiring automotive maintenance or repairs. This role is crucial in ensuring exceptional customer service by providing accurate estimates, recommending necessary repairs, and maintaining clear communication throughout the service process. What You'll Do
- Greet customers and conduct initial inspections of vehicles to understand issues.
- Listen carefully to customer concerns and document them accurately.
- Provide explanations and recommendations regarding repairs and maintenance.
- Schedule service appointments and ensure efficient use of workshop resources.
- Coordinate with service technicians to prioritize repairs based on customer needs and workshop capacity.
- Follow up with customers during and after service to ensure satisfaction.
- Prepare accurate cost estimates for labor and parts based on technician assessments and service manuals.
- Create and maintain detailed service records and documentation.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Automotive Service Advisor or similar role in the automotive industry.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in automotive systems and diagnostics.
- Ability to work well under pressure and resolve conflicts effectively.
